Wah-Wah X Tony Albert Jumper
Aliens are real. Now what? Stay cosy in this limited-edition WAH WAH knit featuring Girramay, Yidinyji and Kuku Yalanji artist Tony Albert's iconic work.
For RISING 2024, Albert’s installations were part of The Blak Infinite, at Fed Square.
“At what point does first contact exist? Woven into a cosmological web of (mis)understanding, this multifaceted thematic and portrayal of alien encounters is reconfigured over and over in my work.
In many respects for me, we are all aliens. Metaphorically this becomes interchangeable between the Indigenous and non-Indigenous, representing a complex layer of (in)visibility.
I want to beLIEve.”

SIZE GUIDE
WAH-WAH sizing is unisex and the measurements below reflect the garment measurements in cm. We recommend measuring from underarm to underarm of a jumper (sweater) that you like the fit of, and choosing the nearest corresponding size. Keep in mind that the knitted superfine merino wool is pretty stretchy and forgiving, so there is a bit of leeway with sizing. For more info, check out the sizing gallery.
